The eight fits

Every cut we make, what it does to the line of the leg, and who it tends to suit. Read this before the size chart — the fit matters more.

What each fit actually does

The Mid-Rise Skinny Jean — Dark Indigo laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Skinny Jeans · Mid-rise

The Mid-Rise Skinny Jean — Dark Indigo

Cut close through the hip and thigh and tapered to the ankle, the mid-rise skinny is the simplest way to get a clean line under boots, trainers or a long coat. The dark indigo wash keeps it smart enough for the office and forgiving enough for everything after it.

  • Fabric92% cotton, 6% polyester, 2% elastane
  • RiseMid-rise, 24 cm front rise
  • Leg opening12 cm at the ankle
  • WashDark indigo, tonal stitching
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out, with like colours
The Classic Straight Jean — Mid Blue laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Straight Leg Jeans · Regular rise

The Classic Straight Jean — Mid Blue

The straight leg is the quiet workhorse of a denim wardrobe: the same width at the knee as at the ankle, so it sits cleanly over a shoe without clinging or pooling. The mid-blue wash is the one that reads equally well in a shop, an office and a field.

  • Fabric98% cotton, 2% elastane
  • RiseRegular rise, 26 cm front rise
  • Leg opening17 cm at the ankle
  • WashMid blue, contrast stitching
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out
The Bootcut Jean — Deep Indigo laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Bootcut Jeans · Mid-rise

The Bootcut Jean — Deep Indigo

The bootcut exists for one reason: to sit cleanly over a boot or a stacked heel without bunching. It stays close from the waist to the knee, then opens by a few centimetres — enough to change the line of the leg, not enough to swallow the shoe.

  • Fabric97% cotton, 3% elastane
  • RiseMid-rise, 25 cm front rise
  • Leg opening22 cm at the ankle
  • WashDeep indigo, subtle rinse
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out
The Wide Leg Jean — Light Wash laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Wide Leg Jeans · High-rise

The Wide Leg Jean — Light Wash

The wide leg falls straight from the hip and keeps falling — no taper, no cling, no fuss. The light wash softens the volume of the cut, so it reads relaxed rather than heavy.

  • Fabric100% cotton
  • RiseHigh-rise, 28 cm front rise
  • Leg opening26 cm at the ankle
  • WashLight wash, tonal stitching
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out, line dry
The High-Rise Flare Jean — Indigo laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Flare Jeans · High-rise

The High-Rise Flare Jean — Indigo

The flare is the most deliberate of the eight cuts we make: it holds close through the hip and thigh, breaks at the knee, and opens into a full, even flare to the hem. Worn with a heel, it is the one that adds the most apparent length.

  • Fabric98% cotton, 2% elastane
  • RiseHigh-rise, 28 cm front rise
  • Leg opening28 cm at the hem
  • WashIndigo, contrast stitching
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out
The Boyfriend Jean — Vintage Mid Blue laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Boyfriend Jeans · Low-rise

The Boyfriend Jean — Vintage Mid Blue

The boyfriend jean is cut loose through the seat and thigh with a straighter leg and a low rise — a relaxed shape rather than a larger size. The vintage mid-blue wash and rolled cuff do the rest.

  • Fabric99% cotton, 1% elastane
  • RiseLow-rise, 21 cm front rise
  • Leg opening20 cm at the ankle
  • WashVintage mid blue, distressed hem
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out
The Mom Jean — Stonewash laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

Mom Jeans · High-rise

The Mom Jean — Stonewash

A true high waist, room through the seat and thigh, and a clean taper to a cropped ankle. The mom jean is the cut that flatters most body types precisely because it is not trying to be tight.

  • Fabric100% cotton
  • RiseHigh-rise, 29 cm front rise
  • Leg opening16 cm at the ankle, cropped inseam
  • WashStonewash, tonal stitching
  • CareMachine wash cold, inside out, line dry
The High Waisted Straight Jean — Raw Indigo laid flat, showing the leg opening and rise

High Waisted Jeans · High-rise

The High Waisted Straight Jean — Raw Indigo

A high waist should hold, not pinch. We cut this one with a deep, defined waistband that sits at the natural waist and a straight leg below it, cropped at the ankle.

  • Fabric99% cotton, 1% elastane
  • RiseHigh-rise, 30 cm front rise
  • Leg opening17 cm at the ankle, cropped
  • WashRaw indigo, minimal rinse
  • CareWash sparingly, cold, inside out, to keep the indigo
